ILLINI Gamewatch for a Cause
BACKGROUND
On August 5th Back 2 School America is hosting its annual University of Illinois Build-A-Kit and Distribution event. This event, which benefits children from low-income families in the area, was launched four years ago by a fellow U of I Alum, who recognizes the incredible importance of getting a first-rate education.
February 26th Gamwatch at Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern at 11 AM
At the event, you will have the opportunity to help us make a difference by write some “Notes of Inspiration”. These notes get put into our Back 2 School kits and serve to boost the self-esteem of the students!
The note paper and markers/pens for the "Notes of Inspiration" will be provided at the Gamewatch. We just need words of encouragement and inspiration from you!
If you cannot attend the event, YOU CAN STILL HELP!
You can help by making a donation to Back 2 School America.
Proceeds will go to support our U of I Build-A-Kit and Distribution Event (August 5), which will provide Back 2 School kits to children that live in Champaign Urbana and surrounding communities!
